Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before registering for the Healthon marathon ("Event"), organized by Dainik Jagran - inext ("Organizers").

By completing your registration, you ("Participant") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, Payment Policy, and Cancellation & Refund Policy.

1. Participant Registration

• Eligibility: All participants must be medically fit to participate in the event.
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information during registration.
• Non-Refundable: As stated in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, all registration fees are strictly non-refundable.
• Non-Transferable: Registrations are non-transferable. Any attempt to sell or transfer your registration (BIB) to another person will result in disqualification for all parties involved.

2. Health, Safety, and Liability Waiver

• You acknowledge that participation in a marathon is a strenuous and potentially hazardous activity that involves inherent risks of physical injury, illness, or death.
• You confirm that you are in good health and physically fit to participate. You agree to take full responsibility for your own health and safety.
• You hereby waive, release, and discharge Healthon, Dainik Jagran - inext, its organizers, sponsors, volunteers, staff, and all other associated parties from any and all claims, liabilities, or losses of any kind arising out of your participation in the event. This includes, but is not limited to, claims for personal injury, illness, death, or damage to property, even if such claims arise from the negligence of the released parties.
• Organizers are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property that may occur during or in connection with the event.

3. Media Consent and Use

• You irrevocably grant the Organizers and their authorized partners the right to photograph, video-record, or otherwise capture your likeness, name, voice, and performance during the Event ("Media").
• You consent to the use of this Media in any and all forms (e.g., promotional materials, advertisements, social media, websites, press releases) for marketing, promotional, and media purposes, worldwide and in perpetuity, without any compensation, notice, or prior approval.

4. Event Conduct and Rules

• You must follow all instructions given by event officials, staff, and medical personnel.
• Your official race BIB (number) must be worn visibly on the front of your chest at all times. BIBs are non-transferable.
• You must stay on the designated event course.
• The use of any unauthorized pacers, vehicles, or external assistance is prohibited.
• The Organizers reserve the right to remove any participant from the course for health reasons or if they are deemed to be in violation of these Terms.

5. Event Modification and Cancellation (Force Majeure)

• The Organizers reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Event for any reason beyond their control. This includes, but is not limited to, "force majeure" events such as extreme weather, natural disasters, floods, government regulations, public safety concerns, or pandemics.
• As stated in our policies, if the event is cancelled due to a force majeure event, registration fees will not be refunded.

6. Disqualification

The Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant for reasons including, but not limited to:

• Cheating or unsportsmanlike conduct.
• Transferring your BIB to another person.
• Failing to follow the event rules or instructions from officials.
• Providing false information during registration.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any and all disputes arising from these Terms or your participation in the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

8. Race Timing Conditions

Participants must complete the walk within the allotted time to avoid automatic disqualification.

21 KM: 2 hours 30 minutes

10 KM: 2 hours

5 KM: 1 hour

9. Amendments

The Organizers reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on this website, and your continued participation will constitute acceptance of the amended Terms.
